Brisbane family photography experience

When you book a Brisbane family photography session with me, I start by trying to find out things about your family & the style of photos you would like to capture. This helps us determine things like, the location – whether it be in studio or an outdoor location & the types of photos & the sequence of my workflow for the session on the day.

My family photography style is natural and relaxed, so you can enjoy your time with your family without feeling rushed or uncomfortable. I try to capture some fun, natural & candid family photos. And although natural, candid family photos are great, I try to make sure I capture at least one photo that is more of a formal family portrait with most the members of the family are facing the camera.

Of course with with larger extended families, candid photography shots are not possible & probably not the purpose of the photoshoot anyway. So I then work on a semi formal posed shot that shows everyone in the family clearly. Whatever way we style we go with my aim is to capture the love & energy in the family unit at the time & bring that out visually in the photographs.
